Metal Tube Rotameter
LZDC Series Metal Tube Rotameter has the features of simple construction, reliable work, wide scope of adaptation, high accuracy and easy installation, etc. Compared with glass tube rotameter, this type has the advantages of high – pressure resistance, explosion – proof, and corrosion – resistance. It can be used to measure the flow of corrosive medium and open – pressure medium. The meter tube and flange are made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti or 0Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti. The float is made of stainless steel. The lining of anti – corrosive float and tube is PTFE.
Operating Principle
Metal tube rotameter is made up of two parts, flow sensor and flow indicator(picture 1). Float is installed inside the conical measuring tube. Because of the function of the fluid, it can shift freely up and down inside. There is a high – performance permanent magnetic steel inside the float. When float shifts up and down, the surrounding magnetic field of magnetic field changes. Once the flow rate becomes stable, the float comes into a dynamic balance and same as the surrounding magnetic field. By the flow indicator connected to the conical measuring tube, the magnetic field of float can be transferred to the indicator in a non – contact way, that is to say, the indicator can detect and deal with the flow by the way of magnetization transfer, and finally show the flow value with the pointer. At the same time, LCD can also read the instantaneous or the accumulated flow value, and output the standard two – wire (4 – 20) mA signal and HART protocol.
